先週の日曜日、毎年恒例横浜技能文化会館にて「第45回技能祭り」が開催されました。
お祭りでは他職種の職人さんがものづくりの体験コーナーを各ブースで開き指導を受けることが出来るイベントになります。
神奈川県スクリーン・デジタル印刷協同組合として、スクリーン印刷を体験して頂くブースを開きました。お子さんがメインになりますが、大人の方にも多数参加して頂きました。

トートバッグとハンカチにそれぞれ3色のインキとスキージ、版を実際に使い手刷りの体験をして頂くという内容です。
お子様連れのご家族皆、出来上がったトートバックとハンカチを見て笑顔になっていく様子をみてこちらとしてもとてもやり甲斐を感じました。

このようなイベントを通じて色んな世代の方々にスクリーン印刷のことをもっと知っていただけたらと思います。

45th Crafts man’s Skill Festival

Last Sunday, the 45th Crafts man’s Skill Festival was held at the annual Yokohama Skills Culture Center.
The festival is an event where craftsmen from other professions not just screen printing will have hands-on corners at each booth where customers can receive guidance.
As the Kanagawa Prefecture Screen Digital Printing Cooperate Association, we opened a booth where people could experience screen printing. The main focus was on children, but many adults also participated.

The program includes hands-on experience of printing on tote bags and handkerchiefs using three colors of ink, a squeegee, and a printing plate.
It was very rewarding to see all the families with children smile when they saw the finished tote bags and handkerchiefs.

I hope that people of all generations will learn more about screen printing through events like this.
