今年夏、神奈川技能文化会館にて行われた“匠の小学校”で、小学生にスクリーン印刷を体験してもらいました。各々好きな色でトートバックとハンカチに3色刷りをして当日持って帰ってもらうイベント。子供達の笑顔に癒されながらスクリーン印刷の楽しさが少しで伝わったら嬉しいです。

Takumi Elementary School

This summer, elementary school students were given a chance to experience screen printing at the “Artisan Elementary School” held at the Kanagawa Skills Culture Center. An event where each person prints three-color prints on tote bags and handkerchiefs in their favorite colors and takes them home on the day. I would be happy if I could convey a little bit of the joy of screen printing while being comforted by the smiles on the children’s faces.
